As a result, we needed to make changes to our district calendar in order to administer and score the exams in accordance with the new schedule. Unfortunately, the State has made additional changes and we therefore had to further adjust our District calendar.The Board of Education voted to approve changing the dates listed below.\n\n \n\nMove the Superintendents Conference Day from Thursday, April 26th to Monday April 30th(4/26 is now Day 2 of testing for the Math Exam gr. 3-8). This Superintendents Conference Day will still be used as a district-wide scoring day for the ELA exam gr. 3-8, and the Math Exam gr. 6-8.Eliminate the Early Release Day on Wednesday, April 18th, as this date is now Day 2 of testing for the ELA exam.Replace Monday, April 16thwith Wednesday, April 4thas a give back day if we have two or fewer snow days. April 16this the first day we return after Spring Recess, and it is the day before the ELA Exam begins. Teachers feel strongly that a day of review after a week-long vacation will be extremely beneficial for the students. The calendar will be amended as follows:\na.   If one snow day is used, schools will be closed 4/4, 4/5, 5/25, & 5/29.b.   If two snow days are used, schools will be closed 4/5, 5/25, & 5/29.\n Please mark your calendars accordingly!
