James

Kindness is something

But it is not an act

It is not a force

It is not an emotion

It is not a feeling

It is not a conversation

It is not a key

But……

Kindness is yourself in a certain time and place

Imani

Kindness is important because it shows how you really are

The way you express yourself can change things by far

So open up your mind and think before you speak

Because kindness is really sweet

Daniel

Anger is a disease that can

Spread at an alarming rate

The only cure we know of is kindness

To bring happiness toward the infected

The infected may resist

But kindness will cure them from

The aching pain of anger

   Any act of kindness,

No matter how insignificant to us may appear,

   Never goes unnoticed

in room 226 has offered to assist you.

Daniel:

Kindness

Kindness is the breeze that sways past someone in a desert of sadness

To cool down their anger and bloom a forest from the desert

But from one single flower in a desert will come millions to bloom a kingdom of happiness.

Maziel:

All those broken hearts

Are taken from their parts

So they can be used

To never be bruised

Mike:

Kindness is key

Kindness is helping people

Kindness I see

Kindness is making someone happy

Nyla:

Kindness is the think that can

Bring someone out of the dark world they are living

Kindness is the thing that can

Bring a person out of misery and depression

Kindness is the start of new beginnings

5.

A simple gesture

really

'anyone would do it'

I guess

except no one ever has

hardly

a random act of kindness?

better

because it was done just for me

gladly

given without coaxing or expectation

freely

and came into the room without fanfare

softly

yet found and touched the deepest part of my soul

gently

                                                                               The ripples grow

When a pebble hits the water

The ripples grow

An act of kindness ripples too

When acted on by me to you

A wave will roll outwards on cue

The ripples grow
