The three and five unit sequences help students develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to succeed in the workforce.  These programs help students acquire the skills for post-secondary study in a business cluster.  The sequences in Business and marketing education provide instruction about the business world that is a necessary component for students to become contributing citizens who are capable of making astute economic and consumer decisions.
 
Students may substitute a 5-Unit Business Education sequence for the 3-Unit Foreign Language 3 unit requirement on the Advanced Regent's Diploma.
