Spring has brought us so many wonderful things outside. It is so nice to see everything outside turning bright green. The daffodils around Post Road are so pretty to see.
Our trip to Muscoot Farm in Katonah gave us the opportunity to see newborn lambs, goats and calves. We loved the horses, Crystal and Tina. The chickens and baby turkeys followed us around their pens. We watched the baby goats play in their yard. We went on a hayride that had us all smiling. In the classroom our plants are growing very nicely. We are keeping track of their progress in our plant journals. We are reading lots of non-fiction about solids, liquids, gases and the weather. We also continue to read books about our favorite characters. It's hard to believe there are only two months left of first grade. We still have a LOT of work to do before we are ready for second grade! | |
