Announcements for Friday, April 11 M-Day

 

 

1.          Lunch today  -                     cheese calzone

 

2.         Attention all students- the EASTVIEW talent show will be held May 2 during your school day.  There is only one performance for the students during the day.  If you are interested in being in the show- please sign up for tryouts in the main office.  Tryouts will be held April 23 after school.  There is a mandatory rehearsal on April 30, after school.

 

3.         Paws for People donations need to be handed in by lunch today.  Please see Mrs. Pastore for your raffle ticket

 

4.         Medieval Times trip money and permission slips are due by today to your social studies teacher.

 

5.          Would you want to be visited by your family when in the hospital? The Ronald McDonald House helps with just this. With every pull tab that you give us The Ronald Mc Donald house gets 5 cents. This may not seem like a lot but in the long run this can add up to hundreds of dollars. With all of us we can make a difference for this world. Please put your pull tabs in the designated box in the cafeteria. The community service club thanks you for your service in making this world a happier place to be.

Announcements for Thursday, April 10 S-Day

 

 

1.          Lunch today  -                   hot turkey and gravy

 

2.         Attention all students- the EASTVIEW talent show will be held May 2 during your school day.  There is only one performance for the students during the day.  If you are interested in being in the show- please sign up for tryouts in the main office.  Tryouts will be held April 23 after school.  There is a mandatory rehearsal on April 30, after school.

 

3.         Girls lacrosse will meet today- please wait by room 322.

 

4.         The Community Service Club is collecting for Paws for People/Paws for Vets.  Most of you met Myer, the service dog, or watched the video about the organization.  We are collecting: plain silver bowls, any type of dog treats, antlers, cooked bones, dog beds,  ear cleaner, frontline (up to 50 pounds), toys that do not squeak, tooth brushes, dog  toothpaste, nail clippers, dog shampoo, poop bags, treat pouches, Lysol cleaning.  Please no rawhide or dog food.  Please drop items off in the auditorium during morning announcements or in the main office until April 11- this is the last week.

 

*****OK students- let’s make this interesting--- starting today any student who brings in a dog item for the Paws for People charity will receive a raffle ticket. Please see Ms. Pastore at lunch to get your raffle ticket.    On April 11, Ms. Pastore will draw a name out of hat and two people will win prizes.

6.         Intramural Boys basketball sign up this week with Mr. Razzak.  “First 40 boys to sign up will be allowed.”  Sign up list is posted outside room 311.  Stop by and sign up. 

 

7.         Attention all boys who are interested in joining lacrosse- boy’s lacrosse will start today here at Eastview.  If you are interested- please stop by Mr. Razzak’s room to sign up.  The first 30 students who sign up will be allowed to play.  On April 10th- meet outside room 311.
