Welcome to the Music Room!  Students in grades 1-5 attend music class twice a cycle, and kindergarten students have music once a cycle. Students are encouraged to participate in musical exploration by performing, creating, and responding to a variety of musical styles from around the world. One of our main goals in music class is to learn how to read and write standard notation based on a combination of the Kodaly, Gordon, and Orff methods of music education.
