The White Plains High School Alumni Association

The White Plains High School Alumni Association was formed in 1997.  Its membership is open to White Plains High School graduates from all of the classes in the high school's 100+ year, 4-site history.

The organization's basic goals are simple:

  • To provide information and news to WPHS alumni.

  • To establish a means of communication and networking between WPHS graduates.

  • To help create and supply information for reunion organizers (see "Reunions" elsewhere in this section of the website).

  • To promote the pride and traditions of being a WPHS Alumnus/Alumna and to foster camaraderie among the graduates.

The Alumni Association plans to support the High School in ways that will be meaningful to current and future students.  In its first year, it presented a new football/soccer scoreboard to the school's athletic field, Parker Stadium, at the Highlands Middle School campus.  In 2004 it was able to supply two defibulators to the high school. This past year we donated $10,000 for new band uniforms.

In its first year, 1998, 535 joined the Alumni Association and it continues to grow.  (For further statistics on membership, scroll down.)  The Association welcomes all White Plains High School alumni. The dues are $10.00 per year for each WPHS graduate wishing to enroll.  To become a member, fill out the form that follows and send it with your check made payable to: WPHS Alumni Association.

  • More than 50 couples are members, both of whom are WPHS grads - 1946 holds the record of 8 of those couples

  • 220+ live in New England or New Jersey

  • Most retirees have gone to Florida

  • 41 states represented; 7 members abroad

  • 4 in Hawaii - none in Alaska, yet!
