Our third grade classes will participate in a grade-level Thanksgiving service project.  This activity encourages students to help families in need by providing the “fixings” for a delicious Thanksgiving meal.  Five food gift boxes will be donated to area families.  We believe this is a wonderful way for children to demonstrate a caring attitude for others during the holiday.  This also provides students with a real life experience for applying their academic skills.  Ridgeway’s caring attitude extends far into the White Plains Community.
