On Monday, November 11th members of the Highlands 8th Grade Band gave paid honor to our nation’s veterans by playing at the White Plains Annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony at the Rural Cemetery on North Broadway.
On November 27th Team 8A visited the Hall of Science in Queens, NY. We witnessed a Cow Eye Dissection, tested gravity, went through a hall of mirrors, tested our strength in the Sports Arena and optical illusions. It was a fun filled, interactive educational experience.
